Arthur Cutten was the last great independant speculator. A quiet man with nerves of steel. He would take positions and push them beyond reason if he felt he was right, a fearless trader. He was the "Wheat King." After the 29 Crash, at the Pecora hearings, he claimed to be "hard of hearing," and "really didn't remember much about those times." He was bull into the top, but soon realized he was wrong, and turned tail for the ride down. He lead a good clean life, unlike the other fellow.
